Michael Crozier, editorial director, Crozier Associates, has been a journalist for more than 50 years. He began as a reporter on a local paper in West London before moving to Fleet Street. He worked on The Daily Telegraph, the Evening News and The Times where he was Editor, Saturday and Editor, Special Projects before joining The Independent in 1986 as Executive Editor, Design and Pictures. Since leaving the paper in 1994 as Associate Editor, he has run Crozier Associates, a newspaper and magazin design and editorial consultancy. He has launched or re-launched some 55 newspapers and magazines in 14 countries. In 2010 he was awarded a Doctorate in Journalism (DJourn) from City University, London.
